Believe it or not, this is actually a serious topic. I won't write too many things like this because
I want this site to be a place where you can come for a good laugh to brighten your day.
This probably won't apply to many of you, I have talked to many nice people on the internet and in real life. But
there are select few that stick out in my mind that I really wish would read this, I doubt they ever will though. But please
do not take offense to what I am saying, after all it is just my opinion my opinion. I am in no way better than any of you out there and I am
not saying I am.
I got to thinking about the content on this site, and I realize that some people may
find some of it offensive. The section that comes to my mind when I say this is the Abuse section, I do
apologize if anyone is overly offended by it. But understand, its all in good fun. I want someone to pull a fast one on me in a chatroom, save the log, and then
submit it to me to post on the site. I would post it right away without hesitation. Dont take yourself so
seriously that you can't laugh at yourself. What fun is life
if you can't take a little time to laugh.
Also I am wanting to make sure that no one misunderstands any of the content on this site
as prejudice of any kind. Something that really pisses me off is prejudice. Not just racial prejudice (Let me state that I hate racial
prejudice. It is so stupid to dislike a person because of thier skin tone, I could rant about that for a while
too, but I will save it for a later date). I am talking about disliking someone because they are different
than you, or because believe different things than you. There is no sense in being mean or saying mean things about
someone differences.
The next time you are being mean to someone think about what would be like
to walk a day in thier shoes. Mostly this occurs in High School, but I have seen some of it in college too. For instance, Lets say there is someone
in your English class that you just can't stand because they always seem down, bitter or whatever. So you make thier time in that class a
living hell. You dont know what they have to go through before they get to that class, or you don't know what they have to face
when they go home. You don't know the things the may have to go through everyday. It could take all they have to wake up and show up for that
class, only for you to make thier day worse.
I will close by saying, just think before you talk. Everyone has hard times, and just because you may not have faced any
yet doesn't mean you are better than those people who have. You will fall on hard times too someday, and you will want
someone to be there to understand.
