It pains me greatly to say it, but Diablo II sucks. The game itself is great, but
the online community is clogged with more crap than the toilets at Taco Bell.
Reason #1 - Hacked/Duped Items
Every item you trade for is hacked or duped. Unless you found the item yourself
its duped, no doubt about it. It doesn't matter what item it is, because the
stupid noobs who dupe the items do not have a brain and therefore cannot seperate
good items from bad items.
Reason #2 - Sojs = Currency
Why sojs are equivalent to money in the d2x economy is beyond me. It just ruins
the game for legit players such as myself. All the items in the world doesn't
matter now, because you can't trade for any item unless you got Sojs. And if an
item isn't worth one Soj you might as well sell it because you won't get anything
else for it (example wormskull, decent mid-level necro helm, not worth 1 soj).
Also the item value flucuates because of duping. A buriza used to go for 6 sojs, now
it goes for 1 if you are lucky.
Reason #3 - Moo Cows
I am quite fond of the Cow level. I often laugh out loud when I kill a cow and he
releases on final "moo." Its a funny level, quite difficult at times, and a great idea.
Too bad its played by the whole world. If you are in hell mode and you want to join a game
that isn't a cow run, you have to create it yourself. Forget about people joining it
though, because exp anywhere else in the game is low compared to cows.
